What we process and why
When you contact Galina or request a tour, we process the information you provide: your name, contact details, preferred date, group size, selected tour and any details in your message. We use it to answer your enquiry, arrange a tour and, where applicable, fulfil a contract or meet legal obligations. Please avoid sharing sensitive information unless it is necessary for the tour.
Legal bases
We process enquiry and booking information to take steps requested by you before a contract and to fulfil a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)); to comply with applicable legal obligations, including accounting and tax rules (Article 6(1)(c)); and, where necessary, for our legitimate interests in website security and protecting legal claims (Article 6(1)(f)).
WhatsApp and other recipients
The booking form prepares a message on your device and opens WhatsApp. It is sent only when you choose to send it in WhatsApp. The form itself does not send the request to a separate site database. WhatsApp is operated by Meta and processes data under its own privacy terms; its service may involve transfers outside the EEA. Hosting and technical service providers may process technical data such as IP address and server logs for delivery and security. How long we retain information
We keep enquiries and booking correspondence for as long as needed to respond, provide the service and deal with related claims; accounting, tax and other documents are retained for the periods required by applicable law. Retention depends on the nature of the record and the applicable legal obligation or limitation period.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction or deletion of personal data, restriction of processing, or, where applicable, data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests.
